Digital STL License

The 3D Print File product ("STL") is a digital geometry file in STL format containing the adapter variants you selected at checkout (crown 12 o'clock or 3 o'clock; fitment sizes tight / standard / relaxed). The purchase is a digital preorder: STL files are currently prepared manually to match the selected crown version and are delivered by email within 5 business days after purchase. No physical item is shipped.

For the Personal STL we grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to:

• Print one or more copies of the adapter for your own personal, non-commercial use, on equipment you control;
• Print replacements for your own use if a print fails or wears out;
• Modify the file privately for your own personal fitment needs.

Under the Personal STL licence you may not:

• Sell, resell, rent, sublicense, or otherwise commercialise the file or any item printed from it;
• Upload, share, mirror, or redistribute the file (including any modified version) on any public model repository, file-sharing service, Discord channel, GitHub repository, torrent, or comparable distribution channel;
• Print on behalf of a third party for a fee (print-on-demand);
• Use the file or any printed copy in advertising or commercial branding;
• Remove or alter any author/credit metadata embedded in the file;
• Use the file to mislead buyers into believing a printed item is an officially licensed watch accessory.

The Commercial STL License is a separate paid product that unlocks limited commercial rights. Where you have purchased a Commercial STL License (and only for the scope listed on its product page at the time of purchase) you may:

• Print and resell up to the unit cap stated on the product page (currently 100 units per licence);
• Use a unique licence code, emailed to you after purchase, to identify your licence on request;
• Brand printed units with your own packaging and marketing, provided you do not imply affiliation with the watch manufacturer, Swatch Group, Audemars Piguet, or RoyalPopKits beyond "made under licence from RoyalPopKits".

Under the Commercial STL License you may not:

• Exceed the unit cap stated on the product page;
• Sublicense, resell, share, or transfer the STL file or the licence code to a third party;
• Upload the file to any public model repository or file-sharing service;
• Use the watch manufacturer's trademarks, logos, packaging trade dress or model names in your branding;
• Imply that your business is endorsed by RoyalPopKits beyond a factual "made under licence" statement.

Volumes above the unit cap require a separate written agreement. Email support@royalpop-kits.com to discuss higher tiers.

RoyalPopKits and its licensors retain all right, title and interest in and to the STL files, including all copyright, design rights and any trademarks. The licences above grant only the rights expressly listed; all other rights are reserved.

"Swatch", "Audemars Piguet", "Royal Oak", "Royal Pop", "MoonSwatch" and any related marks are the property of their respective owners. Nothing in these licences grants you any right to use those marks. RoyalPopKits is not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to any of these brands.

STL files are a digital preorder and are delivered by email within 5 business days after purchase. Commercial licence codes are emailed after purchase. By placing a digital order you expressly request performance of the digital service and acknowledge that, once the file or code has been delivered by email, your statutory right of withdrawal (where applicable) is extinguished. Digital STL purchases are non-refundable once the file has been delivered by email, except where required by mandatory law. See our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Print results depend on your printer, slicer settings, filament and post-processing. RoyalPopKits cannot warrant the result of a print made on equipment outside our control. The fitment caveats in our Fitment Disclaimer apply.

We may terminate the licences described on this page if you breach them, in particular if you redistribute the file, exceed the commercial unit cap, or misuse third-party trademarks. On termination you must stop printing, distributing and selling items derived from the file. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid for the licence.
